Elaine M. Weber

October 28, 1941 – March 26, 2012

Elaine Marie Weber, 70, of Greeley, died March 26, 2012 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born October 28, 1941 in Greeley to Manley Printice and Alice Margarite (Crawford) Young.

Elaine grew up in Briggsdale until her family moved to Greeley in 1957. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1959. After graduation, she started working for the Asa T. Jones Company. Elaine married William “Bill” A. Weber August 19, 1962 in Greeley at St. Paul’s Congregational Church. After Bill’s discharge from the U.S. Army, they returned to Greeley and she started to work for J.C. Penney. She worked there for 27 years as the Office Manager. She later worked for Dr. Carter until her retirement in 2008.

Elaine enjoyed horseback riding, camping, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch and playing card games. She also enjoyed baking. Above all she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Elaine is survived by her husband Bill Weber Sr.; sons Bill Weber Jr. and Wayne (Kay) Weber all of Johnstown; brothers Larry E. (Carolyn) Young of Martinsville, Virginia and Jim (Julie) Young of Farmington, New Mexico; and granddaughter Kara Weber of Pueblo.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
