Elida’s family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona during her younger years, followed by a move to Michigan, where she resided for 25 years. Elida’s final years were spent in Colorado where she was able to enjoy being surrounded by family. Elida was very outgoing, she enjoyed attending celebrations and being surrounded by people she loved. One of Elidas final grand memories was her 75th birthday celebration. Where she was celebrated and surrounded by all her loved ones.
Elida is survived by her daughter, Rachel Flores, son Jessie Castro Jr, 3 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 6 great-granddaughters.
Elida is preceded in death by her parents and significant other, George.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Stoddard Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reception at 6:30 p.m., 3400 Sagebrush Blvd, Evans, Colorado 80620. An Inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
