

Eugene H. “Rep” Replogle, 88 of Greeley, passed away at his home on January 19, 2015. He was born June 14, 1926 in Lingle, WY, to Nathan G. and Maude Del (Young) Replogle. He married Sharleen Staats on November 3, 1948 in Denver, CO.
Rep graduated from Torrington High School in Torrington, WY in 1944 and spent two years at the University of Wyoming. He lived in Denver but has been a resident of Greeley for 53 years.
Rep served in the Navy, Seaman 1st Class, in World War II, in the South Pacific. He worked as a Brand Inspector for the Colorado State Brand Board.
He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion of Greeley and The VFW.
Rep was very proud to be a Navy man, enjoyed gardening, cooking, tinkering on his boat, and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Sharleen; daughters Candis (Chuck) Putnik and Tammy (Les) Bullington; brother Nathan Replogle Jr.; sister Mildred Israel; grandchildren, Stephanie Cox, Zachary Putnik, Bo Baird, Kim Baird, Ashley Carson, Abby Bullington, Amanda Bullington and Bryce Bullington; as well as 8 great-grandchildren, 5 girls and 3 boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his daughter, Melody Baird.
A visitation will be held from 2-4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
