Faye Loree Gettman

Faye Loree (Munger) Gettman, 88, passed away May 24, 2018 in Greeley. Faye was born to Steve and Abi Munger on December 8, 1929 in Elkhardt, KS. She married John Gettman Jr. on September 11, 1949 in Yuma, AZ.

She graduated from Brighton High School, later attending Colorado State College of Education, now University of Northern Colorado.

She was a bookkeeper for the Brighton Standard Blade, the hospital in Brighton as well as nursing homes in the area.

She attended Grace Lutheran Church, loved doing crossword puzzles, gardening, listening to music, 4th of July family reunion picnics, and Christmas Eve, which she would host.

She is survived by her children; Beth Tribelhorn, Jim (Allison) Gettman, Bonnie (Lee) Groves, Barb Schlidt and John (Christina) Gettman; sisters, Betty Bullard, June Sulffridge and Delsie Harris; grandchildren, Dara and Jared Tribelhorn, Natalie and Tiffany Schlidt, Zachery and Laura Gettman, Katelyn Cronquist, Lee Groves, Cameron and Sarah Gettman, Brian, Kyle and Chase Warren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Steve and Abi Kathleen (Ablard) Munger; husband John Gettman Jr.; brothers, Deane and Charles Munger.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.

Service will be held at the Allnutt Macy Chapel Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 A.M., with burial at Linn Grove Cemetery.
