George Robert Brennan, Jr., age 69, passed away on November 1, 2021 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born on April 11, 1952 to George and Myrtle (Long) Brennan in Auburn, Nebraska. He grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he went to Fort Collins High School and worked a variety of jobs. He married Cherie Ann Glenn on August 15, 1971 and they moved to the Greeley area where he was a farm manager. Sharing their life together, they were blessed with a daughter, 2 grandsons, and 3 great grandsons.
Bob enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed building and collecting model cars; he had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He was a wonderful man who worked hard for his family…he was their rock.
He is survived by his wife Cherie of 50 years; his daughter Michelle McNeece; his grandsons Johnathan Brennan (Breanna), and Christopher McNeece (Elisha); 3 great-grandson, Nathanael Brennan, Skyler Brennan, and Logan Hackett; sister Alpha “Sissy” Robinson; brother Michael Brennan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; his brother Jerry; and sisters Wanda and Connie.
Bobby was a wonderful man and he will be missed deeply. We love you dearly!
He did not want a fuss, so the family will have a celebration of life in the Spring of 2022.
