Gloria Luna Hartmann, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother “Momma G”, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on July 9, 2025. She was born on September 28, 1962, in Greeley, Colorado, to Selso and Domitilla (Zamora) Luna.
On July 30, 1993, Gloria married the love of her life, Michael J. Hartmann, and together they built a joyful and love-filled life. Gloria lived passionately, danced freely, and loved fiercely. She lived by her own rules, always with music in her heart, laughter in her home, and her family at the center of everything.
A dedicated mother and the proud “Momma G” to her grandbabies, Gloria embraced each moment of family life – from late-night talks and softball games to family nights filled with cooking, joy and togetherness. Her proudest roles were being a wife, a mom, and a grandma, and she poured her soul into each one.
Gloria was a guiding light to many as a retail manager, leading with strength, compassion and integrity. She took pride in her work, often referring to it as one of her greatest accomplishments. Her love of all colors, music (especially Elvis Presley’s All Shook Up), and laughter made every gathering brighter.
She taught her family the meaning of unconditional love and generosity – lessons best served at her table during weddings, baby showers, or just family get-togethers. Her legacy is stitched into the lives of those she fed, cheered for, and laughed with.
Gloria’s joy and wisdom will echo in family stories forever – especially her famous line: “I’ll give you $5.00 if you’ll eat this lemon.” To her, life’s lessons were never problems – they were chances to “make magic and smiles”.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael, her children, Jason (Stesha) Nino, Chongo (Melissa) Nino, and Vanessa Nino. Her grandchildren, Amara (Seth) Putman, Milan Nichols, Adam Ponce, Lexi Anderson, Tahila Nino and Charles Nino. Siblings, nieces, nephews and a large extended family who will miss her deeply and carry her light forward.
