Harvey Levi Williams, 86, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at UC Health Greeley Hospital. He was born April 10, 1935 in Vesta Township, Clark County, Kansas to Henery L. and Grace (Rash) Williams.
Harvey was raised in Yuma County, Colorado, where he attended Yuma High School. Harvey was the co-owner/operator of Williams Enterprises based in Greeley. He retired from trucking in 2016.
On December 20, 1991, Harvey married Wilma C. Wetherington at the First Christian Church in Greeley.
Harvey loved horses, Ford pickups, watching Western movies and reading. He also loved his Jack Russel Terrier, Peanuts.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Wilma C. Williams of Greeley; daughters, Dixie (Williams) Chartier and spouse, Jeff, of Burlington, Colorado, Pamela Stone and spouse, Ross, of Milwaukie, Oregon, Joyce Hessler and spouse, Corey, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, Julie Wetherington of Loveland, Colorado and Jeannie Garcia and spouse, Michael, of Loveland; sons, H.L. Williams and spouse, Vanessa, of Eckley, Sam Williams and spouse, Wilda, of Eckley, Dennis Wetherington and spouse, Cindy, of Mitchell, Nebraska, Bill Wetherington and spouse, Crystal, of Cresco, Iowa and Troy Wetherington and spouse, Alexandria of Greeley; sister, Connie (Williams) Newbanks and spouse, John, of Yuma and brother, Jerry Williams and spouse, Barbara, of Spokane, Washington. Harvey is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henery Williams, mother, Grace Williams and brother, Jack Williams.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home.
