She is survived by her husband, Jesse Muro; three children, Kylene, 16, Kaidence, 10 and Jeremiah, 4, all of Windsor; her parents, Rick Scott and Mary (Markley) Scott; her grandparents, Harvey and Juanita Scott; her parents-in-law, Juan and Bertha Muro and her brother, Dustin Scott all of the Greeley-Evans environs. Heather will be remembered and missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in the northern Colorado/southern Wyoming area.
She was preceded in death by two uncles and one aunt, as well as her great-grandparents.
Heather was born on September 8, 1982 in Greeley to Rick and Mary Scott. Her childhood was spent in and around Weld County, most notably in Ault, where she graduated from Highland High School in 2001. She also attended school at Cambridge College in the Denver Metro area, pursuing a career in the medical arts. She worked as a surgical technician for ten years. Heather had most recently begun work on a bachelor’s degree in counseling, hoping to work with young girls. Her gentle and loving ways, and her precise attention to detail will certainly be missed in the professional realm.
Heather and Jesse first met and began a relationship in the seventh grade. They married on February 12, 2000. Together they have three wonderful children, Kylene, Kaidence and Jeremiah. Just within the past year they had moved to Windsor, having spent most of their married life in Evans. Their large extended family is devastated by shock of losing this vibrant and dynamic woman.
Services will be held at the Christian Congregational Church, 16th Street and 7th Avenue, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
