Helen Louise (Baldwin) Hergenreder, of Greeley, passed away December 11, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born April 2, 1930 in Denver, where her loving adoptive parents, Fred and Irene Baldwin, fell in love with her and brought her home to Greeley. She was a College High School graduate, class of 1948.
Helen married Jake Hergenreder of Greeley, on January 23, 1949.
After the birth of their two children, Rick and Linda, they moved to Denver, where they lived for 30 years. Helen worked for Skaggs Drug Stores for 17 years in the cosmetics department. Retirement brought another move for her and Jake, back to Greeley. She was a volunteer at the Union Colony Civic Center for many years, as well as the Greeley Stampede. Helen and Jake were avid Broncos season ticket holders, attending three Super Bowls. They also loved spending the winters in Arizona. Helen kept busy, enjoyed knitting and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son Rick (Gayle) of Arvada, daughter Linda Wilson of Windsor, granddaughter Kristen White (Brandon) of Brighton, and two great grandchildren Aubree and Tyler White of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jake, brother Harold Baldwin, and son-in-law Keith Wilson
