

Isabell M Lancaster was born on October 9, 1920 in Windsor Colo to George and Marie Schnell. She attended school at Windsor High School and graduated in 1938. She attended Greeley Commercial College and later was employed by Martin Field Insurance and The First Industrial Bank. She was also employed by Warren Mylander Motors in Greeley.
On June 20, 1956 she married Kenneth H. Lancaster in Greeley. Her husband passed away on January 31, 2006 a few months before they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
In January, 1961 they moved to Medicine Bow, Wyoming where her husband was employed by the U.S. Forest Service as a Forest Ranger.
They also lived in Ten Sleep, Wyoming and Douglas, Wyoming. In 1976, they retired and moved back to Greeley. They enjoyed traveling and camping.
Survivors are her sisters, Nadine Hunter of Greeley and Mildred Thomas and husband Robert Thomas of Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Willmetta Foos and Doris Stroman; brother Marvin Schnell; brothers-in-law Robert Hunter, Robert Stroman, and Victor Foos; and nephew Steve Stroman.
Visitation will be held 10-11 am Monday at Allnutt Funeral Service~Macy Chapel, followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery. A reception will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church following the committal service. Memorial Contributions can be made to Greeley Children’s Chorale or to charity of choice in care of Allnutt Macy Chapel 702 13th St., Greeley CO 80631.
