Isaias L. Lopez

Isaias Lopez Lopez, 76, of Greeley, passed away August 12, 2015 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. Isaias was born March 10, 1939 in La Sara, Texas to Felix and Antonia Lopez. He was the youngest of eight children.

Isaias married Esmeleglida Martinez. They were married 50 years before she passed away in 2010.

In his early years he was a Migrant Farmer. He was employed with BSI for 25 years. In 1973 he moved to LaSalle and then to Greeley in 1980.

Isaias was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and family get-togethers on the weekends. He loved to fix things, was an excellent handyman and always enjoyed the chance to try something new.

Isaias was kind hearted and always enjoyed helping people.

Isaias is survived by his daughter Ledia Lopez; sons Raymond (Gina) Lopez, Alfredo (Toni) Lopez and Andres (Ericka) Lopez; a sister Eva Gutierrez; a brother Carlos Lopez; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Esmeleglida, five brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2015 with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
