James E. (Jim) MacDonald, 56, passed away June 24 at his home in Loveland, CO. Jim was born January 3, 1959, in Denver, CO, to Don and Clara MacDonald. He graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1977.
Jim, also known as “The Bass Ace”, was a professional musician. He played in many bands in Wyoming and Colorado. He was founder of the Outriders band of Northern Colorado. He also taught music through a variety of instruments.
He is survived by siblings Richard, Rob, Scott, Jackie, and Janice; children Tony, Taylor, and Morgan; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
