James Ellsworth Peregoy, 64, of Greeley passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado the son of John and Goldie (Bigham) Peregoy. He was raised and educated mostly in Fort Collins and graduated from Kersey High School. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army for a short time. On December 22, 1986 James married the love of his life Beverly Puente. The couple made their home in Greeley where he worked in the restaurant industry. He retired from Red Lobster after 10 years of service with them in 2015. James was a collector of all things Owls and loved to read western novels. Over the years he was an active member of Assembly of God Churches.
James is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly; siblings: Carlota Flemming, Jackie (John) Blivens, Jay Steven Peregoy, Jaunita (Larry) Wadsworth and Patrick Jeremiah (Lisa) Peregoy as well as several nieces and nephews.
