He was born on September 4, 1939 in Canon City, Colorado. He was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce and Army. He served in Vietnam.
Jerry is survived by his son, Jeff Wood and daughter, Peggy Naranjo, grandchildren, Heather (Jaime) Padilla, Shayde (Logan) O'Neil, Keegan (Corey) Wood, Kaitlyn Wood and Jefferson Wood, great-grandsons, Justin, Samuel, Kristopher and Mason, niece, Alta (Denton) Davis, and nephews, Darin Wood and Daniel Wood. He is also survived by three sons by his first marriage James, Robert and Vincent Wood and their families.
Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Victoria S. Wood, parents, William and Zola Wood, and brothers William and Robert Wood.
A private family memorial and Jerry's final wishes will take place at a later date, as yet to be determined.
