

Jack was raised in Radium. He was one of 11 children.
Jack served in the US Army from 1940 to 1942. After his service, Jack moved to Greeley, where he met Annabelle. They dated for one year and then were married. Jack and Annabelle were members of the First United Methodist Church for many years and recently became members of Northern Colorado Cowboy Church in Lucerne.
They were members of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) of the High Plains Drifters Club. Jack and his family enjoyed traveling in their motor home and touring the United State, all of them, but two. They wintered in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Jack and Annabelle were foster parents to over 52 children throughout the years. Jack enjoyed taking family vacations; camping, fishing with his brothers-in-law, Ron and Don, and spending time in the mountains. He and his wife would go dancing on special occasions. Jack was a Denver Bronco and Colorado Rockies fan and enjoyed watching games shows.
Jack also enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s soccer game and swim meets.
Jack is survived by his wife, Annabelle; daughter, Kimberly Cook; son, Andy Cook; three grandchildren, Sasha Lynn Cook, Zachary John Cook and Emily OliveAnn Cook and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Northern Colorado Cowboy Church, 33131 US Hwy 85, Lucerne. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
