Josephine Ann Cano, 65, of Gill, Colorado passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at her home. She was born March 20, 1956 in Portales, New Mexico to Selso Luna and Domitilia Zamora. She was reared in the Catholic faith.
Josephine came with her family to Northern Colorado when she was four years old. The family settled in Windsor, where Josephine attended schools. After her education, she met Rene Cano and they were married on June 24, 1980 in Greeley, Colorado.
After their marriage, they moved to Platteville, where they lived for 25 years and then moved to Gill. Josephine loved to dance with Rene. She was very generous, helping anyone in need. Above all was her love and devotion to her family.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Rene of Gill; two daughters, Missy Mirowski of Severance, Colorado and Jessica Perea of Greeley; son, Martin Cano of Gill; six sisters; six brothers and five grandchildren – two granddaughters and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Adam Luna and her twin grandsons.
