

Juan Espino-Escobedo, 74, of Greeley, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home. He was born on August 24, 1942 in Vicente, Guerrero, Durango, Mexico to Jesus Espino Allala and Maria Escobedo De Espino.
Juan moved to Greeley in the 1970s. He worked for the Cozzens family on their farm for over 40 years and he counted them as part of his family. He loved to drive the new tractor on the farm, which he said drove itself.
Juan was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. His passions included gardening and grilling, especially chicken. Above all was his love for his family.
Juan is survived by his wife, Maria of Greeley; six daughters, Rosa Espino (Antonio Monrreal) of Greeley, Maria del Consuelo Espino (Luis De La Cruz) of Mexico, Maria Elena Espino (Humberto Vasquez) of Greeley, Manuela Espino (Ignacio Contreras) of Grand Island, Nebraska, Sandra A. Espino (Luis Navejas) of Greeley and Angelica Espino (Miranda Espino) of Greeley; two sons, Jose Espino (Claudia Espino) and Juan Espino (Esmeralda Espino) both of Greeley; two sisters, Eva Reza (Amalio) of Greeley and Martha Espino of Mexico; six brothers, Aurelio Espino (Engracia Espino) of Greeley, Jose Espino (Eustolia Espino) of Greeley, Simon Espino (Victoria Espino) of Mexico, Epifanio Espino (Elia Espino) of Greeley, Bartolo Espino (Mica Espino) of Mexico and Savino Espino of Greeley; 25 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his twin infant sons, “Angels” and one grandson, Ulises Manuel Espino.
Visitation will be from 12:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 and 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. all at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery.
