Kathryn Jo Beggs

Kathryn attended schools in Colorado and graduated from North High School in Denver. On April 7, 1982 she married Mark Beggs in Brighton.

Kathryn loved animals and had a heart of gold. She was a hard worker and helped on the family’s tree farm and logging business.

Kathryn loved arts and crafts. She made a lot of beautiful pieces through her bead working. She also made bird feeders and loved watching the birds, learning a lot about all the different species. She enjoyed reading and going camping with Mark. She was a loving and devoted mother and was so proud of all of her kids. She was a strong woman and her resolve was tested with the loss of her youngest son, Forrest, whom she dedicated her life to.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Mark S. Beggs of Greeley; two daughters, Tracey Lynn Englemann (Kevin) of Arkansas and Melissa Rina Eddy (Bobby) of Arizona; two sons, Seth Clayton Hollingsworth of Arkansas and Cotton Steven Beggs (Ashley) of Loveland and six grandchildren, Rebecca Engleman, Victoria Engleman, Gleashua Hollingsworth, Jushaunua Hollingsworth, Calab Clayton and Avy Rae Stagner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Forrest Beggs.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
