Kenneth Allen Baumgartner

Ken was raised in Keenesburg, where his family farmed. He graduated from Weld Central High School in 1967. After graduation, he worked in the Keenesburg area, including the elevator in Keenesburg.

On February 7, 1982, he married Vicki Crawford at Zoar Congregational Church in Prospect Valley, where he attended church and was confirmed.

After their marriage, Ken and Vicki lived in Keenesburg by their family, where he farmed until his health failed.

Ken enjoyed fishing and doing jigsaw puzzles. He loved his many cats and loved collecting many things, including arrowheads. Above all was his love for his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Baumgartner of Keenesburg; daughter, Tina of Hudson; son, Kenneth & wife, Renee of Keenesburg; sister, Lori Grindle (Randy) of Wiggins; sister-in-law, Patty Baumgartner of Keenesburg; two brothers, Richard Baumgartner and Rodney Baumgartner (Helen) all of Keenesburg; four grandchildren, Paul, Cala, Levi and Jedidiah and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sandra (Baumgartner) Wagner, who died the same day; a brother, Gerald Baumgartner and sister-in-law, Linda Baumgartner.

Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the American Legion in Keenesburg.
