Kenneth Don Pfeilschiefter was born September 20, 1943, in Minot, North Dakota. He passed October 28, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado. Kenneth was a retiree of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local union 1245. He believed deeply in the value of workers' rights and the power of the union. His muscled fingers showed the strength of years of work until his last day. He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps and dedicated the later years of his life to helping veterans in times of trouble.
Kenneth sent text messages each morning to those he loved. He was not shy to tell those he loved that it was so. He was sometimes cantankerous, never hateful, always kind. He would fight where he saw a cause. He liked to fish. He was a terrible mechanic but tried. He joked about everything. Those that met him, liked him. Those that knew him, loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Ralance and Mildred Pfeilschiefter; his brother, Rodney Fielding; and his second son, Dallas Pfeilschiefter. Kenneth is survived by his children, Shannan Stanke, Paul Pfeilschiefter, Ryan Pfeilschiefter, and Ginger Pfeilschiefter; his sisters, Linda Abel and Donna Rae Pretzer; four grandchildren, Samantha, Camryn, Grace, and Everleigh; as well as two great-granddaughters.
His life will be celebrated September 20, 2026, on what would have been his 83rd birthday, on which day his ashes will be scattered during a private gathering in a location that he requested. Kenneth will be remembered with love and humor.
