Kyle Dylan Stark

Kyle Dylan Stark, 20, of Greeley, passed away May 2, 2012 at Hospice of Northern Colorado at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. He was born July 9, 1991, in Greeley, Colorado to Michael Stark and Karen Lord.

Kyle attended Monfort Elementary School, Saint Mary Middle School and graduated from Frontier Academy in 2009. He loved sports and took karate, played soccer, T-ball, football, and his favorite—basketball. He earned ribbons in karate and basketball. He loved following the NBA on TV.

Most of all, Kyle loved being with his friends and family. He was beloved for his big heart, quick wit and dry sense of humor. He will be laid to rest next to his best friend, Casey Korgan.

Kyle is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen Lord O’Connor and Bob O’Connor of Greeley, sister Amy Lee Stark of Denver, grandparents William and Lorraine Lord of Boulder, aunt Melanie Lord (Gary Werner) of Madison Wisconsin, uncles Jeff Lord (Debby Romero) of Boulder, David (Amy) Stark, Samuel Stark, Patrick (Elaine) Stark and Aunt Polly (Dean) Baber of Madison Ohio, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Michael Lee Stark of Greeley and his grandparents, Samuel and Arlene Stark of Painesville, Ohio.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3800 West 20th Street, Greeley. Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
