Larry Francis Kennedy

Larry was born in Biddeford, Maine July 27, 1946 and spent his early childhood living on his grandparent’s farm near Old Orchard Beach, Maine. He moved to California with his family and joined the Marine Corps in 1964. He met and married Linda Stasiefski in 1966 and together they had three children: Sean, Lisa, and Lori. After moving to St. Louis, Larry and Linda separated.

Larry moved to Florida where he worked and met lifelong friends Rita and Denny Shaw. After moving to Greeley, CO in 1996, he worked at The New Plantation as a doorman and maintenance man until retiring in 2016. He met and married his wife Tama in November of 2004. Together they enjoyed traveling on their Harley, whether to a local watering hole or longer road trips.

He is survived by his wife Tama, daughters Col. Lisa Redinger, Lori (Larry) Oyler, and Dani (Bobby) Downey; son Weston Dean; sisters Colleen (Darrel) O’Neal and Judy Linstrom; grandchildren Barry Buie; Christine, Sean, and Ian Redinger; Alex, Ryan, and Jake Downey; great grandchildren Ezra and Elijah Buie; mother-in-law Jean Dean and Donna and Clayton Dean.

Preceded in death by infant son Sean; brothers Bernard and Daniel; and both parents Bernard and Dorothy.

Please join us Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 at The New Plantation in Evans for a celebration of Larry’s life. Enjoy food and drink while we share stories, dedicate songs, and lift a glass or two to Larry.
