Leonor and Santiago Arenas were together since 1962. He passed away in the 1980s. They had their children, raising them in Nebraska and Colorado after moving here in the 1960s.
Leonor loved watching westerns, playing bingo and spending time with family. She also enjoyed when her friends would visit.
Leonor is survived by daughters, Maria Delgado and Gloria Almendars; son, Daniel Armendariz; brothers, Albert Valenzuela and Augie Valenzuela and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Santiago, brother, Florencio Valenzuela, sisters, Delores Galaviz and Elvira Sanchez and son, Richard Almendars.
Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Church of God of Prophecy, 110 N. 25th Ave. Ct., Greeley.
