

Lewis was born on December 30, 1937 in Pierce, Colorado to Lewis and Bonnie (Burkhart) Gray. He moved to Greeley in 1944 and attended Greeley public schools. In 1955 he married Vivian (Vicky) Morgan. On June 12, 2015 they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Lewis worked for Lafferty Moving Storage until 1963 and then moved to Loveland to manage Morgan Smorgasboard, for 5 years, after the death of his wife’s mother, Neva Morgan. In 1968, he went to work for Trans Western Express in Loveland where he was a truck driver and dispatcher for 30 years until retirement.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Vicky and their 5 children; Randy, Rod, Ricky, Ronda Belden (Greg) and Rashell (Dave). Lewis is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and a grandson, Mitchell Gray.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland. Interment at Loveland Burial Park.
