

At the age of 2, Lois's family relocated to Seattle, Washington where she attended West Seattle High School. Lois married Chester Graves on May, 17, 1946. In 1951, the family moved to Eagle, Colorado. They had four children. In 1971, they finally settled in Eaton. Lois was a nurse aid at the Longmont Hospital and was employed for 20 years as a rural postal carrier. She was a devoted wife and mother and was very involved in her church. Lois loved to travel and explore. She enjoyed fishing and gardening with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chester Graves, parents Herbert Cochran and Arminta Cochran, and brother Robert Cochran.
She is survived by her children James Graves (Claudia Graves), Janice Morton, Mary Hefferon, and Donna Kanus. She is also survived by her grand children Jason Morton, Jenny Hefferon, and Sean Dadds.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 .pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Allnutt Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., burial following at Eaton Cemetery.
