Madeline Manuela Sanchez

Madeline Manuela Sanchez, 91, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 8, 2023 at Fair acres Manor in Greeley. She was born on February 27, 1932 in Raton, New Mexico to Jose Aurelio and Veronica (Trujillo) Salazar, who were married in 1920.

Madeline graduated as the Salutatorian of her class in high school. Madeline was a faithful and dedicated mother to all of her nine children. Our mom had a strong faith and was a prayer warrior. She created and wrote twenty plus songs and hymns. She had a beautiful singing voice and even sang on the radio. She read her bible daily and when she lost her eyesight she used her audio bible.

One of her biggest sorrows is when her youngest daughter, Victoria Lenore Sanchez, went missing at the age of fifteen in November of 1982. We all took comfort knowing our mother prayed for us every single day.

Madeline is survived by her children James, Gloria, Anthony (Debbie), Della (Craig), Mary, Christopher, Robert (Elisa), Victoria, Richard and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Salazar, sister, Mary Martinez, and her parents.

A celebration of life for Madeline will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Mosaic Church, 3451 23rd Ave, Evans, CO 80620.

We loved you more mom. See you and Vicki later.
