Margaret Florence Pearson, 88, of Greeley, passed away February 6, 2015 at Garden Square in Greeley. She was born November 26, 1926 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England, to Joseph and Florence (Newson) Andrews. She married Carl Pearson on April 9, 1944 in Teddington, Surrey, England. They were married for 54 years before he died in December of 1998.
Margaret grew up in England, moving to Loveland, CO in 1946. She was a homemaker and owner of the Campus Yarn Shop for many years.
Margaret was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a fantastic knitter, a wonderful cook, loved animals and loved and cherished her family. One of her favorite quotes was “This too shall pass”.
She is survived by her son, Brian Pearson; daughters Gail (Don) Hairston, Cheryl Pearson-Smith and Debie (Kimball) Stuart; brother Ralph Andrews; grandchildren Lori Reichel, Shelly Morehead, Kelly Cecil, Perry Mader, Jaime Roberts, Ryan Smith, Cory Hansen, and Joshua Pearson; as well as 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl; her parents; brother Bill Andrews; and sister May Andrews.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
