Ruth married Floyd E. Gross. He passed away on March 9, 1971. She then married David Backes.
Ruth was a member of the Upper Room Ministries. She loved babies and those who knew her would call her “Grandma”. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She also enjoyed family gatherings, birthday cakes and Milky Way bars.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Samuel, Manuel, Daniel, David and Lyle; daughters, Charlette (Pat) Baldizan, Dianne , Janette and Kristy; two brothers, Wilbur Wise and Jr. Wise both of West Sacramento, California; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Delores, three sisters and three brothers.
Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at The Upper Room Ministries, 919 18th Avenue, Greeley with a reception to follow.
