Michael Frances Barlow

Long time Glen Haven resident and Estes Park business woman, Michael Barlow died at her home Tuesday evening October 21, 2014. She was 71 years old. Michael Frances McCarthy was born in New York City July 16, 1943. Her parents were Richard and Grace (Butz) McCarthy. On April 15, 1963 she married John D. Barlow in Bethlehem, PA. Michael worked at State Farm Insurance and Remax Mountain Brokers, and was co-owner of Rocky Mountain Escrow and Title, all in Estes Park. Michael is survived by her children William and his children Katherynn, Olivia and John of Wilmington, NC, daughter Jenny Northcutt and husband Eric and their children Danny, Michael and Nick of Estes Park and daughter Karen Barlow of Fountain Hill, PA. She is also survived by her mother Grace Mc Carthy of Palmer, MI and a sister Caroline McCarthy-Stockwell of Poteau, OK. She was preceded in death by her father and the love of her life, John, whom she joins in death. Michael was a brave, kind and amazing woman who loved and was loved as a wife, daughter, grandmother, mother, aunt and friend. A servive to celebrate Michael’s life will be held Sunday October 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Ponder Chapel, Leggett Center, YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.
