My condolences to Helen and family.  Seldom does one have the opportunity to share time on this planet with a person as liked and admired as Mike. I had the pleasure of being involved in numerous committees and organizations with Mike, I always came away in awe with how he impacted each person he came in contact with. First and foremost, Mike was a family man.  He loved his wife, children and family.  He always talked about his respect and admiration for Helen.  Mike was always my mentor and friend for over 30 years.  I will miss him and will always cherish our ""outings"" to talk over life issues and how to make our community better.  Heaven welcomes a good soul in Mike Geile.

Mike was a cherished childhood and lifelong friend.  Helen, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have many fond memories of Mike from prowling our childhood neighborhood to many high school and college adventures. Our fearsome foursome (Larry, Tom, Mike and Mike) had some great times. I  send my sincere sympathies to all of you members of Mike's family. I know that Mike's passing is very sad loss for you and it is for me too.  Mile was always a friend and great partner when we served together on the Aims Board of Trustees.  I worked with Mike on other occasions and knew him as one that was always smiling, always very friendly and willing to offer a helping hand on any occasion.  He will be deeply and forever missed.

He was someone I could always count on and turn to for guidance and community insight -- his depth and breadth of knowledge was amazing! I'll always remember his warm smile and supportive, caring ways. He will be missed.

Highland Hills Senior men's golf association sends our condolence to the family of Mike Geile.  Mike was a member of the Highland Hills Senior men's golf association for a couple years and what a pleasure it was to get to know Mike. Mike also played with a group of us on Monday's on occasion. We will miss him so much. RIP Mike hope you have time to play golf in heaven.

Uncle Mike was a great uncle who will be deeply missed. I remember him playing boogie on the piano which made the floor shake.  I also remember him telling me jokes that were about boogies,  like ""How do you make a kleenex dance? Put a little boogie in it. "" I remember him playing catch with me in my grandparents yard, and getting the opportunity to play golf with him and his brothers. Uncle Mike was a caring aND could always make me laugh. He always had a smile on his face. He will be truly missed.

As we say goodbye to a good man, may we take solace in that which is lovely never dies but only passes into another form. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you Helen on the loss of your husband and partner; and David, Dianne, Michael and Jamie on the loss of your father.

Our deepest sympathy to Helen, Jamie and the family.  Mike was my political mentor and is one of the finest human beings I have ever met.  His service to Greeley and Weld County is truly unmeasured.  I will remember our recent conversation over a cold beer for the rest of my life.  We will surely miss you!  Rest in peace, my friend.

i was so shocked to hear of Mikes passing.  i have fond memories of serving with Mike on the Aims board.  He was the one I could count on and turn to when I needed advice.  He truly was a good friend.  i have always thought highly of Mike and enjoyed the times when he and Helen and John and I would meet on the train going to Cheyenne or at an Aims function. He was definitely a huge part of the Greeley community, serving so well.  I am sure he has heard the words, ""good and faithful servant"" when he met Jesus.  I will miss him a lot.
