Nancy Jo Abrahams

Born in 1943 in Evanston, Il, Nancy grew up in Denver, CO and graduated from Aurora Central High School in 1961. She married Neil D. Abrahams of Colorado Springs in 1964. Nancy received a BA degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1965. She taught Physical Education for 32 years in several elementary schools in Widefield, CO, mostly at Talbott, until her retirement in 2000.

In her retirement, Nancy enjoyed genealogy, scuba diving and photography. Her travels took her across the world as she documented her trips with many photographs of nature. She is survived by her son, David N. Abrahams of Parker, CO; her daughter Judith A. Abrahams of Anchorage, AK; her sister, Ellen M. Westbrook (Parker) of Aurora, CO; and her granddaughter, Kamryn L. Abrahams of Parker, CO. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Neil D. Abrahams in 2002; her mother, Arliene H. Heilman in 1997; and her father, Carl F. Parker in 1982.
