

Sue was reared and educated in Greeley, attending Greeley High School. On September 15, 1951, she married Edward “Ed” Morehead in Raton, New Mexico. She worked at Jerry’s Market as a meat wrapper for 23 years, retiring in 2003. She often delivered groceries to the elderly during her lunch hour.
Sue loved her family and was very close to her sisters. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-granddaughters. She was very giving.
She and her husband loved to play golf together and were among the first members of the Eaton County Club. Sue’s passion was bingo and she was known as the “Bingo Lady”. She also loved bowling and was a league bowler for many years.
Sue is survived by daughter, Krista Kay Fuller (Corey) of Greeley; two sons, Mark Alan Morehead (Tricia) of New Castle, Wyoming and Mikel Todd Morehead of Greeley; two sisters, Annamae Stromberger and Erma Haas both of Greeley; five grandchildren, Chace Morehead of Greeley, Stephen Morehead (Denise) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Christopher Morehead (Lea) of Connecticut, Ashley Fuller and Zackary “ZJ” Fuller both of Greeley; two great-granddaughters, Valnecia Widener and Saraeh Widener both of Harper, Kansas; several nieces and nephews and her beloved Chihuahua, “Turtle”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, an infant daughter, Deborah Ann Morehead, sister, Helen Robinson and brother, Ted Stephenson.
Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
