

She was born April 13, 1932 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Gerhardt and Hazel (Vigerust) Grudt.
Pat was reared and educated in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she graduated from high school. She then attended normal school. She taught in a one room, all grade country school. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Menomonie.
She married James M. Clough, on December 11, 1952 in Stillwater, Minnesota.
After their marriage, the family lived throughout the United States and Europe. James served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. After his retirement, they moved to Greeley, Colorado in 1973 and in 1977 moved to Milliken. James was a pilot and they flew on many trips many times. They also enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved crossword puzzles, trivia, and watching game shows. She was an excellent gardener in her younger days.
Pat took life as it came and really enjoyed helping others. She was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pioneer Post No 2121, V.F.W., in Garden City.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Fisher (Stephen) of Arvada and Lori Fleming of Greeley; a son, Michael Clough (Patty) of Elbridge, New York; two sisters, Carol Zientek of Harrison, Arkansas and Sandra Bird (Lynn) of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Barbara Grudt of St. Paul, Minnesota; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James who passed away May 27, 1995, and a brother, Anthony Grudt.
A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat Clough’s name to the Ladies Auxiliary of Pioneer Post No. 2121, V.F.W., in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
