Floyd passed away when Peggy was young and she was raised by her mother and Claude Taylor whom was daddy to her.
Peggy graduated from Ault High School in 1958. On June 27, 1957, she married Kenneth Adkisson. He passed away in 1992. She then married William Luna on May 16, 2009. He passed away in 2020.
Peggy worked for Monfort/Swift/Conagra/Lamb Plant for 25 years before her retirement. She enjoyed camping, fishing, Dutch hopping and square dancing with her husband, Kenny. She loved her country music, especially George Strait, Chris Ledoux and John Michael Montgomery, loved to attend concerts, and watching Gunsmoke. She enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies games. She also enjoyed taking trips to Arizona to visit her sister. With her husband, Bill, she enjoyed traveling, gambling and fishing. Peggy loved to host parties. She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets and being outdoors working in her yard.
Peggy was a caregiver for everyone, her son, husband, mother and her second husband. She will be remembered as a great listener and was the ROCK of her family.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Eisele (James Mares); step-children, Marty (Sheila) Luna, Mike (Vickie) Luna, Brenda (Tony) Thompson and Diane (Robbie) Wilson; siblings, Patti Hirsch, Robert Taylor and David Taylor; grandchildren, Richard (Becky) Adkisson and their children, Michael and Brandon, Heather Callen (Adolf Ruiz) and their children, Cieara, Denalli and Raiden, Kaylynn Williams (Chris Casias) and their children, Kayslynn, Trace and Envee and Quinn (Amanda) Zwetzig and their children, Brian, Skylar, Trinity and Jaxon; 12 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son in 1990, K. Michael Adkisson, mother, Rachel (Rusch) Taylor in 2010 and her sister, Sandi Millner 2013.
