Rafael Salazar

Rafael Salazar, 34, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 1, 2025. Rafael was born October 2, 1990 and was an only child to Gloria Paz and Tirso Salazar in Greeley. He graduated from Greeley Central High School.

Rafael had many interests that included Pokemon, playing poker with friends, fixing his truck, and helping care for his parents. The true love of his life was his only child Dylan. Together they enjoyed playing poker games, listening to music, caring for their many cats and kittens, and of course Pokemon hunting. Rafael was a loving father, brother, and son.

Rafael is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Paz.

Rafael is survived by his father, Tirso Salazar; son, Dylan Salazar; many friends, and extended family. Thank you for all your contributions in helping provide his final resting place. His was a life cut way to short.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 11:00 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow the Funeral Service 2:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 West 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Stoddard Funeral Home, to assist in Rafael's funeral services.
