Doc married Edna Hazel Brooks in 1946. His dream came true when the family moved to Colorado in 1973. Doc and Edna were married 58 years before Edna’s death in 2004. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Greeley.
Doc was a furniture repairman and best known for his sense of humor. He loved to “stir the pot” in a fun way. He loved camping on road trips, taking photos, trains, and baseball.
Doc is survived by his sons Ray (Lorraine), Dennis (Barbara), Michael, and Tom (Lanette); daughter Kathy Sue (David Koa Fornes); grandchildren Levi, Joshua, Maxwell (Miranda), Ivy, Allison and Samuel.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edna, a daughter, Mary Frances, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Mary.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13 at First Presbyterian Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately after.
