

Raymond was a 1963 graduate of Crook High School in Crook, Colorado. He was an athletic type, as he played various sports, including basketball and football. In 1964, he moved to the Greeley area and worked in his family businesses, the El Parian Restaurant and the Dominguez Tavern. On June 8, 1968 he married Carolina Dominguez in Guadalajara, Mexico, and they had four children.
He was quite the handyman, he enjoyed carpentry and remodeling, as well as restoring classic cars. Raymond was proud of the fact that he laid 75 miles of railroad in Red Feather, Colorado. While working the railroad, Raymond was given an honorary name by Lakota tribesmen working alongside him, which was “Nakayashi”. Always larger than life, Raymond loved music and dancing.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Carolina, his son, Oscar Edward Dominguez, daughters, Maria Guadalupe Dominguez and Guillermina Dominguez Valencia, sisters, Caroline Dominguez Vazquez, Maria Dominguez Vazquez and Dora Dominguez, grandchildren, Cynthia, Cesar and Brenda Valencia, Latisha Rae Flores, Crystal Cuneo, Monica, Derrek, Alexis, Christian and Ray Anthony Dominguez Jr., as well as numerous loving great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Ray Anthony Dominguez, a.k.a. Little Ray, his parents, Jesus and Dolores, his half-brother, Albert Dominguez, and a sister, Rebecca Felicitas Dominguez Gutierrez.
