

Born on October 23, 1954 in Imperial, Nebraska, to Harold (Hap) and Leslie Tallman Stinnette. Rhonda graduated from Chase County High School in 1973 and from the University of Northern, Colorado in 1977, with a degree in Marketing. In 1985 she married the love of her life Rod Spencer, of Monte Vista, Colorado. Over the years they also lived in Durango and Wray, CO.
Rhonda was a very creative, artistic person. She wrote beautiful, insightful articles, during her working career as Member Relations Director at the Monte Vista Co-op and the Monte Vista Journal. She had a passion for photography.
Rhonda had a big and kind heart and a passion for animals. She designed logos and created custom art and printing services for various Local Farm Cooperatives and animal rescue organizations. Combining art with the printed word was her specialty. She developed a line of products for Rottweiler Bros Farm which were sold nationwide and included Christmas ornaments and household items. She was also instrumental in the startup and operations of United Energy of Colorado, LLC a propane delivery and service company located in Keenesburg, Colorado until she retired in 2022. To say Rhonda possessed an entrepreneurial spirit would be an understatement.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Rod of Galeton, CO; sister Sharon Wallin and husband Leroy of Montrose, Colorado, nephews, Bradley Wallin and wife Rita Koselka, of Oakland, California, Brian Wallin (Jill Jordan) of Ridgway, Colorado, great nieces Emma Wallin of Kansas City, MO, Eleni Wallin of Ridgway, CO, and Natalia Wallin of Oakland, CA, great nephew Lucas Wallin of Oakland, CA. Mother-in-law LuAnna Spencer of Waukee, Iowa, brother-in law Chris Spencer of Oregon Ill, sisters-in law, Carla Jensen of North Liberty, Iowa and Lorie Machen of Sterling Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Harold and Leslie Stinnette and Father-in-law, Donald Spencer, and grandparents Tom and May Stinnette, Ray and Hazel Tallman.
A celebration of life will be held in Imperial, Nebraska on July 26.
