Robert George Brehm, 75, of Pierce, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins. Robert was born on June 26, 1937 in Longmont to George Henry Jr. and Esther Marie (Glanz) Brehm.
Robert grew up in Berthoud, where he attended Berthoud High School. He worked as a tree trimmer for over 25 years, many of those years for Greeley Tree Service. He also worked as a custodian at Ault High School for over 15 years.
On February 3, 1959, he was married to Wanda Jean Lawley at First Christian Church by Rev. Pace.
Robert was a member of First Baptist Church of Pierce. He enjoyed fishing and loved caring for his yard and vegetable garden. He also enjoyed cars and cooking. He loved time with his family, especially is grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Wanda of Pierce; two daughters, Darilyn Brehm of Greeley and Sandra (Gary) Wiltz of Madison, Wisconsin; three sons, Robert Jr. (Kim) Brehm of Salt Lake City, Utah, David Brehm and Alvin Brehm both of Pierce; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services and Gathering will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 3 at the Ault Senior Center.
