Robert Bob DeBord

Robert P. “Bob” DeBord, 79, of Loveland passed away on October 8, 2014. He was born on January 22, 1935 in Omaha, NE to Arthur W. and Betty M. (Rice) DeBord. Bob married Pat A. Yago on May 9, 1987 in Greeley, CO. He was previously married to Maryan Dietz.

Bob worked as a mailing requirements clerk and postage due technician at the US Postal Service for 32 years until his retirement in 1990. He liked golf, playing cards, and visiting Blackhawk. Bob took great pride in care of his lawn. He had a great memory, loved to talk and tell good stories. Bob loved to sing and enjoyed karaoke with his family. He was a loving Husband, Father (in-law), Brother (in-law), Grandfather, Uncle (great), Son-in-law, and Friend.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters Beverly (Gary) McNear of Superior, CO, Susan DeBord of Denver, CO and Lynda Yokota-Bella and family; brother Donald (Fran) DeBord of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 grandchildren, Jason Wing and Sean Croteau, and also nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Barbara; his first wife, Maryan, and daughter Cathy.

Memorial Service 11:00am Friday, October 17, 2014 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland, CO. Following the service there will be a reception at the Great Wall Buffet, 1525 W. Eisenhower Blvd. Loveland, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Bob’s name.
