Robert A. Slepicka, known to his friends as Bob, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015. Bob was born on October 10, 1943 in Aurora, IL to Robert F. and Selma J. Slepicka. On October 11, 1969 he married the love of his life, Bette Hoffman, in Denver. Bob enjoyed photography, cooking, great restaurants, The Big Bang Theory, pictures of his granddaughter, and the Broncos.
Bob received a BA from the University of Denver. He was a Marketing Executive for Great West Life, New York Life, and Principle Financial Group. Following his retirement, Bob continued to be active; he was a Colorado Certified Tour Guide, worked at The Olde Golf Course in Loveland, and delivered flowers and smiles for Palmer’s Flowers in Ft. Collins.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Bette Slepicka; daughter, Kirstin Bormann (Adam); granddaughter, Lia Bormann; son, Kevin Slepicka (Justine Chenault); brother, Ken Slepicka (Kathy); sister, Sandie Glenn (Jim).
