Robert Joe Wagner, Jr. (Bob) passed away April 27, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado. Bob was born March 26, 1932, in Greeley, the same town he called home throughout his life. Bob's journey was deeply rooted in the land and the community of Greeley.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and continued his commitment through the Army Reserve until 1959. His dedication to service was a defining part of his character-one that remained evident throughout his life.
Bob found deep joy and fulfillment in farming, a passion that enriched his entire life.
Even long after he retired, he continued to take pleasure in driving through the countryside, admiring the farmland that had once been his world. For Bob, agriculture was more than just a profession—it was a way of life that brought him lasting satisfaction and a profound sense of purpose.
He shared 61 amazing years with his beloved wife Margorie Wagner, who preceded him in death in 2012. Together they built a family whose legacy continues through their children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's lives.
Bob is survived by his son Larry Wagner (Debbie), daughter Lynette Belfiore (Tony); grandchildren Amy Fetzer (Matt), Corey Wagner, Brandon Belfiore (Ali), Sean Belfiore (Sonja), Travis Belfiore (Jeanette); as well as 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services honoring Bob's life will be held on May 9, 2025 at Allnutt Funeral Home located at 6521 W. 20th St Greeley, Colorado 80634. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 am followed by a service starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will resume at Allnutt's for a light lunch.
