Roberta “Charlene” Harris, 81, of Greeley, passed away August 11, 2014 at Fairacres Manor as a result of Parkinson’s disease which was diagnosed when she was 37 years old. She was born January 15, 1933 in Pamona, KS to Lawrence and Devena (Roady) Steele. She married Ernest William Harris on August 26, 1951 in Greeley, CO. He died March 9, 1993.

Roberta graduated from Greeley High School. She was a business manager at Sunrise Community Health Care Center, Front Range Behavioral Health, and was CFO for Harris Builder Supply, Inc.

Roberta was a member of the Elks Club. She loved to fish and golf and enjoyed dancing and Bingo.

Roberta was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Greeley.

She is survived by her son, Bradley (Daphne Martinez) Harris; daughter Sherilyn (Donald) Draper; and by her sisters Margaret Bryant and Betty Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest William Harris.

Family has requested no services.
