Rosa Anita Montoya Morado

Rosa was born April 16, 1956, to Juan and Anita Morado in Laredo, TX.

At a young age, her family moved to Windsor, CO area. She attended school in Windsor.

Throughout her career, she worked for Monfort, Hewlett-Packard, and retired from Metal Container Corporation after 23 years in January 2015.

Rosa loved her family above all else and her Denver Broncos.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Montoya of 28 wonderful and loving years; sons Jake (Erin) Rodriguez, Gabe (Jen) Rodriguez, 3 granddaughters whom she adored with all her heart; Aspen, Noelle, and Nina Rodriguez and her dog Monty; mother Anita, brothers, John (Barb) and Frank, sisters, Sandra (Keith) and Alma and countless nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving daddy, Juan Morado, mother-in-law Sarah Montoya, and her beloved dog Chili.

The family would like to thank the loving Emergency/ICU staff at NCMC that cared for mom in her time of need, your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. October 11, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Linn Grove Cemetery following the service.
