Ruth G. Lynch of Evans, died November 2, 2010 in Evans. She was born November 12, 1934 to Peter and O’Linda (Roth) Freehling in Globeville, Colorado

Ruth married Homer Lynch on May 12, 1951. Of this union was born Sheryl, William, Patricia and Karla Lynch.

Ruth worked at Bayley Manufacturing for ten years and was the Housekeeping Supervisor at NCMC for twenty-four years. Upon retiring, she cleaned the homes of her friends, Dr. Jack, Keith and Margaret and Gayle and Donnie.

She was a member of St. Nicholas and St. Mary’s Catholic Churches.

Ruth loved cooking, crocheting, baking bread and kraut burgers and doing crossword puzzles. Ruth also enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. The highlight of her life was her grandchildren; Dee Dee Vigil, Phyllis (Ed) Hernandez, Tracy (Eric) Lawing, Anthony (Miranda) Atencio and Tim Salazar, great-grandchildren; Nicole (Edgar) Vigil, Amador Vigil, Mario Antuna, Loni Aragon, Ataivian, Devon and Aaliyah Atencio, great-great granddaughter, Ali Fernandez.

She is survived by daughters, Sheryl (Robert) Luther and Karla (Bruce) Glenn, five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Ruth is preceded by her parents, daughter; Patricia, son; William and great-great grandson-in-law, Marty Vigil.

She will truly and sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation 4-7 p.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Inurnment 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
