

Shirley spent her childhood on her parent's dairy farm near Kuner and graduated from College High School in 1949. After high school, she married Orville J. Hoff and had four sons: Michael, Donald, Douglas, and Richard. They later divorced and she continued to work and support her sons. Shirley worked for various bakeries, including managing the Greeley and Fort Collins Toddy's bakeries.
She enjoyed spending time with her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time in Blackhawk and Central City.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Peggy) Hoff of Eaton, Richard (Beth) Hoff of Oakley, KS, her grandchildren Gregory (Shayla) Hoff and Shawn Hoff of Eaton, Amy (Forrest) Bryant of Andover, KS and Lindsay (Matt) Bange of Junction City, KS, and her great-grandchildren Morgan, Rylan, and Crew of Eaton and Devin and Anna of Andover, KS and Raya of Junction City, KS. She is also survived by her brother Johnny (Shirley) Rein of Kersey.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her two sons Michael Hoff and Donald Hoff.
Per Shirley's request, there will be no services, but the family will be hosting a gathering for family and friends to celebrate Shirley and share memories and stories on Monday, November 24th, 2025 at Old Chicago; 2349 W 29th Street, Greeley, CO at 12:00pm.
Instead of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Shirley's name to Greeley Village and Bristol Hospice of Northern Colorado in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W 28th Street, Greeley, CO.
