I remember lots of good times with Steve growing up in Cody. We were in Boy Scouts and high school swim team together. We both attended Northwest Community College in Powell at the same time, enduring Art Fries' (spelling??) chemistry lectures. So sad to think that you are gone from this world too soon. RIP, Steve.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Steve was a very good friend growing up in Cody. I feel sad that we never crossed paths after High School. I thought of Steve a lot thinking back at the good times we had. Playing baseball together and later on hunting together. I will always remember Steve as a class act and I feel privileged to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I am sorry to hear about Steve.  When I was showing your home, I am so glad I got to talk to you.   I hadn't known Steve was in such declining health until I saw you.  I remember the picture of him you had when going down your basement stairs and he was such a nice looking young man.    Sara Felsheim and I were reminiscing when I went in the flower shop today and she told me about Steve.  We have lost many classmates.  What a loss for you all.  My prayers are with you all.

Mr. and Mrs Klomparens,

I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing.  My sister texted me and asked if I heard but she didn't know what happened.  I was going to come by your house but I was told you had moved, which I didn't know.  I called Mrs. Hunter, who called Mrs Hockley and she told me of some seizures that he had a couple years ago.  

I never saw Steve after High School, which I regret.  I talked to him on the phone once when I was organizing one of our reunions and he sounded just like I remembered him sounding.

Webelos (sp)? and JV basketball is where I spent the most of my time with Steve.         Mr. Klompers, I remember one time when Spike wasn't going to bring Steve on an out of town trip and you told him you would quit coaching if he wasn't allowed to go.  I have always remembered that.  I also think I remember you guys hosting an exchange student.  Seems like his name was Mascio Arupa Defretas or something like that.  But anyways, I remember walking to your home with he and Steve and he asked us if we smoked cigarettes and we told him no, like the good boys we were. 

Again, I am so sorry.  I hope to see you if and when you come back home.
