Toni Rene Gonzales

The most beautiful inside and out, ravenous black haired, brown eyed, milky skin toned Toni Rene Gonzales was born February 21st, 1986 to Nick Gonzales and Barbara Somerville. She is survived by her beloved brothers and loving sister: Nick, Simon, Emiliano, Joseph, Joshua, and Re’anna Gonzales. Toni was known and loved by many. She was fierce, kind, calculated, and resilient in every way she moved.

Definitely stubborn and a force to be reckoned with; Toni never shied away from telling you exactly what was on her mind. She had an incredible talent for baking and was extremely smart beyond her years. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design at Collins College and had an impeccable work ethic just like her mother and father. A Notre Dame and Bronco fan always knew her sports.

One thing she loved more than fashion, her fur babies, and baking was the love for her brothers’ children. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her nieces and nephews. She lived to see them happy. She will always cheer them on with Granpa Nick.

Every family gathering and holiday was a time to spread cheer, stir up the competitive nature in the family, be the rule enforcer, and provide an amazing gathering with fabulous baked goods.

The sisterly love and adventures she gave to not only her little sister Re’anna were timeless, filled with laughter and graciously shared with her sister in laws Cassie, Melissa and Selena. Toni was always there to serve as an advocate for both sides and laughed so loud with each one of them over the countless stories shared over family birthday dinners.

Toni will always be in the hearts of her family, friends, and coworkers. She would want all those who knew her to celebrate every minute to its fullest and don’t wait to say the important things. Fight the good fight, root for your loved ones, and love til you can’t love no more.

Mama Barb, don’t worry she’s safe in the arms of your loved ones now. Rest and be at ease. Stand strong and true with your boys and your baby girl.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
