Victor Hugh Workman, 79, of Greeley, CO, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2023 at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1943 in Alton, Kansas to Thelma Grace (Sedden) and George David Workman.
Victor's parents were Assembly of God pastors and they pastored at churches in Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. When Victor was a teenager, the family moved to Berthoud and then he lived in Loveland for 40 years.
On December 20, 1970, Victor married Carolyn Parker. They were married for 52 years, until his passing.
Victor served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a devoted Christian and family man. He loved cars and drove them at the Colorado National Speedway. He also loved traveling and vacationing to see his family.
Victor worked in construction for Front Range Roofing and Douglas Roofing in Greeley. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Roofing Specialist for the Thompson School District R2-J.
Victor is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Tony Parker (Betsy), Donald Workman, Victoria Garrison (Richard), David Workman and Paul Workman (Valerie); 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Workman, his parents and two sisters.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Greeley First Assembly, 3000 16th Street, Greeley.
