Virginia ""Jeannie Mae Williams

Virginia “Jeannie” Mae Williams, 79, of Greeley, CO passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 AT North Colorado Medical Center. She was born on May 13, 1937 in Windsor, CO to Henry and Ameila (Feit) Buderus.

Jean graduated from Greeley High in 1955. She married Richard L. Williams on June 17, 1956, in Greeley, CO. After high school, Jean attended some business classes which led to her being Officer Manager for Buehler Mayflower in Denver. Then she started working for North Colorado Medical Center in the Human Resources Dept. In 2002, Jean went to work for Dr. Kailasam at the Allergy & Asthma Clinic of Greeley working part-time. After retirement, Jean enjoyed doing her samples, demos and visiting with all her customers within King Soopers.

Jean was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Greeley where she was confirmed and married Richard. Richard passed away in 1991. Jean enjoyed tending to her rose gardens, NCMC Turkey Trot registrations, and was an active UC Health Volunteer in Greeley. As well as bus trips and activities with the Silver Medallion Group of Guarantee Bank, Jean was a Greeley Stampede Wrangler for 22 years. Jean enjoyed her companionship with Floyd Speaker from 1993-2012 where they took multiple trips to Blackhawk to do a little gambling, taking drives, and dancing.

Jean is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Russell) Martin; son Rick Williams; sister Betty Ley; granddaughters Kristyn Martin and Tanya (Ryan) Filsinger; great-granddaughters McKenna Martin, Jaedyn and Brielyn Filsinger; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard; brother Harvey Buderus; brother-in-law Robert Ley; and special friend Floyd Speaker.

A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M. Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
